The goal of this project was to utilize concepts of emphasis and visual hierarchy while making sure to display all of the required information. Since there was a lot of text to be placed, it was challenging to find ways to emphasize the most important text and still maintain a dynamic and interesting layout. To accomplish the goal, I focused on first determining which pieces of text I would want the viewer to look at first and then used visual elements to guide the viewer's eye throughout the composition. I enjoyed working with the “sliced” text technique and the lines, shapes and color to create emphasis and visual interest.
